Food Blogger Cravings

...And it's the weekend! Good Friday and two weeks until spring break! My two weeks will consist of a few late nights at work (there's another play), one bio exam, and essay exam and the rough draft of my raw food paper being due, not too too bad! Lunch today was another partial pack partial school... I'm into this system lately!

Veggies with avocado and salsa mixed, baked potato with salsa and hummus and a vanilla yogurt. I wanted to get a soy milk but they were out =(. I was looking for a protein and the yogurt was close nutritionally and calorically though with a little more sugar but I thought it was the best replacement, and it was good!

Afternoon snack was a random snack plate of peanut butter filled pretzels, mint dark cocoa roasted almond and some assorted dried fruit

I am under the belief that there are certain foods that are craved by food bloggers much more than other people. Things like nut butter of all kinds, odd alternative type grains, greek yogurt, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, oatmeal, gigantic salads, smoothies and anything that Katie or Angela makes =).  I realized this because for dinner I laughed at myself because. I was having a major craving that I though could be put into this category as well

I was jonsing for tofu! I made up a batch of Caitlin's perfect baked tofu which I've been wanting to try for a while, though I didn't have sesame seeds or chili powder so I threw some red pepper flakes in it. This recipe gets my 100% approval!

With a serving of brown rice, steamed broccoli and mushrooms topped with Bragg's and more red pepper flakes.

Had with some orange roobios tea it was perfect and totally hit the spot!

I don't know whether to try and run tomorrow... I have some foam rolling to do!

Peace!

Caitlin
